Abbey Brooks is a curvaceous blonde pornstar who was born in Chicago, Illinois but grew up in the suburbs of Detroit in a devout Catholic family. Her education was primarily in Catholic school through the tenth grade and she was not exposed to a lot of pop culture growing up.
After graduating college with a degree in Business Management, Abbey tried several desk jobs but eventually decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, and would very likely have ended up doing something in the field if fate had not intervened with a chance modeling job that changed the course of her life.
Abbey had done some modeling growing up when her mother got her some work for local stores for their advertisements, so she was already quite comfortable in front of a camera. She had never really considered being a model as she was under the impression that a girl needed to be super-thin to achieve any success in the field, and she had always been self-conscious about her curves. One mainstream modeling gig led to another and Abbey was soon in demand.
One day Abbey happened upon some porn sites while looking around on the web and thought that posing for nude pictures might be fun and lucrative. She had a friend take some softcore pictures of herself and tried selling them on her own online. The photo-sets didn’t sell particularly well, but they did find their way to casting agents in LA’s infamous “Porn Valley” who soon contacted her about appearing in adult productions.
Abbey was a natural in front of the cameras and she found the experience of performing liberating. Her career in XXX porn followed the well-worn path of solo and striptease scenes, followed by girl-girl scenes and later, male-female pairings beginning with oral sex scenes and eventually working her way up to being a full access, all openings pornstar.
Her first XXX production was shot in 2006 and since then she has appeared in over a hundred titles and remains active as a porn actress with new titles being released all the time. Her appeal is such that she was the star performer when Vivid Entertainment created a new sub-brand featuring ample ladies, called Vivid Plus with the inaugural title “Curvaceous” being released in 2008 which had her cast opposite such porn luminaries as Angelica Sin, Amber Peach and Carmella Bing and catapulted Abbey into the top tier of porn performers.
Ms. Brooks has made a name for herself not just for her physical attributes, but for her intelligence and sparkling personality. She is also quite down to earth and really enjoys interacting with her fans, signing autographs at trade shows or corresponding with them via email or her twitter account. As she has stated in interviews, without her fans none of her success would have been possible and she really is grateful for their adulation.
Abbey has branched out into mainstream acting, appearing on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim program “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” which ran for five seasons on the network; and while she has many irons in the fire and is pursuing opportunities outside of porn, she had no intention of leaving behind the industry that started it all for her.
